JKSSB Issues Revised Panchayat Secretary Document Verification Schedule
Following the recent document verification process for Panchayat Secretary hopefuls, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a new notification granting another chance to additional candidates who fall within the consideration zone.
According to the notification, these individuals, whose details are listed in Annexure “A” of the document, are invited to appear in person for document verification on January 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
The verification will take place before designated Document Verification Committees of the Board, at locations specified for each candidate.
Those shortlisted must bring along original copies and one set of self-attested photocopies of various documents, including their online application form, recent passport-sized photographs, a valid photo ID proof, date of birth certificate.
Relevant category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, academic transcripts (10+2 and graduation), and any other documents required based on the advertised qualifications.
Ex-servicemen candidates have additional requirements, including presenting their discharge certificate, an ESM certificate issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, and an affidavit confirming they haven’t previously availed horizontal reservation benefits. Failure to do so could lead to disqualification.
Importantly, candidates who miss the scheduled document verification will forfeit their chance for selection.
This notification provides a valuable opportunity for additional Panchayat Secretary aspirants who may have missed the initial verification round.
They must ensure they submit all necessary documents promptly and attend the verification on the specified date and venue to keep their selection hopes alive.
